My teaching for summer is finished and I have finally got around to decorating the Harvest Jug I made over Open Studios weekend. I love traditional slipware and have enjoyed making this; it has been a few years since I last made one. It’s made using terracotta clay, using slabs and coils with white slip painted over, then carved away using sgraffito.
